Cookies and consent
Cookie Policy
This page explains what cookies, localStorage and similar technologies SIVI Web may use, why they are needed and how you can manage your choices.
Updated: June 25, 2026
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files stored by the browser on a device. LocalStorage is similar but stores data inside the browser. These technologies may be used for technical site operation, interface language, analytics or advertising.
2. Current use on this website
- NEXT_LOCALE cookie: helps open the site in the selected language.
- sivi-locale in localStorage: stores the language choice in the browser.
- Technical server logs: help support security and diagnose errors.
- Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights are used as privacy-friendly analytics without marketing cookies to measure aggregated visits and technical page quality.
- As of this update, the site does not set Google Analytics or Google Ads cookies without a separate integration.
3. Cookie categories
- Strictly necessary: required for site operation, security, routing or basic settings. They usually do not require consent, but should be disclosed.
- Functional: remember language or convenience settings. Where legally required, they are used after consent.
- Analytics: help understand visits, usefulness and technical page quality. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights are used for aggregated privacy-friendly statistics; Google Analytics or similar services are connected according to settings and consent where needed.
- Marketing: used for advertising, remarketing or campaign measurement. These tools should not run without consent where consent is required.
4. Google Analytics, Google Ads and Consent Mode
If Google Analytics, Google Ads, Tag Manager or Consent Mode is added, users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland should receive clear information and legally valid consent for non-essential cookies/localStorage and ad personalization where required.
Google may receive page URL, IP address, device data, cookie identifiers and other technical signals. SIVI Web should not send Google request-form data as personal identifiers unless allowed by Google policies and law.
5. How to manage cookies
- You can clear cookies and localStorage in browser settings.
- You can block third-party cookies in the browser.
- You can use the Cookie settings button in the footer to change or withdraw consent for analytics and marketing.
- If a consent banner is activated on the site, it should allow accepting, rejecting or changing non-essential categories.
- For Google Analytics, you can use Google's official browser add-on where available for your browser.
6. Updates
If we add new cookies, analytics, ad tags or embedded content, this policy should be updated before or at the same time as that integration.
